John Moore: Founder & Lead Investigator
John is the founder, and lead investigator of OPRI. He has been researching and investigating the paranormal since 1995. John spent time working with different teams in the past in order to further study and understand paranormal phenomena, but after several years of gathering experience he decided it was time to start his own team. John built the team based on the concept of paranormal unity – coming together as a community to share knowledge in order to help people in desperate need. He first became fascinated with the paranormal as a young boy growing up in New Brunswick – he saw his first apparition at age 9 while inside the funeral home that his family had run for multiple generations. From that moment forward he has been searching for answers to the many unanswered questions that surround this topic. His ultimate goal is to use what he has learned in order to help people, and share his knowledge with future generations of paranormal investigators. Chris Kalinowski: Investigator/Researcher
Chris has been interested in the paranormal for more than 20 years. His areas of expertise include traditional folklore, earth religions, Celtic mythology, and Christian & Islamic mysticism. He brings a unique blend of life experience, combined with analytical expertise to the OPRI team. Chris’s ultimate goal is to help people feel at ease with things that they do not understand, while exploring his own inner curiosities surrounds the world of the paranormal. Shelby Taylor: Case Manager
Shelby helps with client intake interviews, investigations and location scouting for O.P.R.I. Like many others in the paranormal field, she has had her own experiences which prompted her curiosity about other dimensions. She has a professional background as a Youth Worker and Visual Artist, and she currently works for the local film industry. |
Danielle Moore: Event Manager
Danielle’s interest in the paranormal began in 2004 when her husband and sons sat her down to talk discuss some of the strange occurrences that had been happening in their family home. She had not personally experienced anything in the home, and had no explanation for what was happening to her family. To this day, Danielle remains a skeptic but remains intrigued – she is trying to understand, and find proof of the paranormal. Julia Annunzii: Investigator
Julia has been practicing Wicca since she was a teenager and has spent spent a significant amount of time researching various occult religions. Since her first encounter with the paranormal, she has found herself sensitive to certain energies during different situations. Julia is a technology expert, and prides herself on piecing together small pieces of info to see the bigger picture. She joined OPRI in hopes of gaining a better understanding of the paranormal and so she can help those facing the paranormal. Alex Scantlebury: Media Relations & Communications
Alex recently joined the OPRI team after approaching John about writing a feature piece on the paranormal. He is neither a believer, nor a skeptic but he is open to both possibilities. Alex is an experienced researcher and uses this skill set to help the team prepare for upcoming investigations. He intends to turn his experiences investigating the paranormal into a book. |
